These Are The Days
These are the days to remember.
These are the days of poop. Everywhere.
These are the days of tantrums that make me laugh.
These are the days of nighttime routine taking hours.
These are the days exhaustion. Complete exhaustion.
These are the days of mismatched outfits proudly worn because my 3 year old dressed herself.
These are the days of mis-pronounced words, funny sentences, and sometimes swear words spoken so innocently that it’s adorable.
These are the days of worrying so much about being a good mom it hurts.
These are the days of hearing a cough down the hall and my husband and I giving each other the look for defeat. Not another f-ing cold.
These are the days of amazement. Amazement that I grew these two wonders in my belly and they are walking around with my dna.
These are the days of feeling oh so lucky to be raising two kids in this time of change. My kids have the power to make a difference, and will have the confidence to always stand up for themselves.
These are the days of multiple drop-off and pickup locations, forgetting schedules, and occasionally losing my mind.
These are the days of giggles, snuggles, and so much love that my heart feels as it could explode.
These are the days of googling everything and asking a million things in Facebook groups until I feel content with an answer.
These are the days.
These are the moments to remember.
As cliche as it is, the days are long but the years are oh so short. My heart breaks as everyday passes by and my kids become more and more independent. I don’t take any day for granted. I am so lucky and thankful for these two littles that made me a mom. <3
Your days remind me of all our glorious days! A whole lotta love 💘
